shroom

Shroom_2

That's all I've got for yesterday/today. My body has begun to rebel against all the hunched-over handsewing, so I'm taking a day or two off. I spent a few hours reorganizing our craft room yesterday (it's also my office and I had to dig out the bills and important paperwork from the piles of fabric and clumps of wool stuffing that were covering everything). It was all quickly undone this morning by my kids. Ah, sharing. We all have our important messes to make in there.

Have a great weekend.

enjoy your time off. i have empathy for the hunched-over posture and am ready for a little break. it always feels good to reset the studio in order to get inspired again.

may the weekend be filled with relaxation and nice weather.

the mushroom is so cute!

enjoy...

beautiful. love the gingham. have a great weekend stephanie. xo

Wow! This may very well be my favorite thing you've made to date!

aww I love the little underneath part!

So gorgeous! Visiting your site is like a having a creative espresso.

i love that mushroom.

Hi!
Everything you make reminds me my childhood. All brown colors in the woods, gray, green and some bright spots. I like that you leave your things simple so the color has all the attention. I would love to see all your creation in one - handmade nature!. Wouldn`t that be great?
Thank You for inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Can I add your blog to my list of "cool blogs"?
Thank You!

Ah, shrooms! They sprout after a good dose of rain where I come from, signaling a start afresh. Very apt, I think. ;)

Can I come visit your small forest? Because it looks just lovely and soft and comfortable and ornganic. :)

i am so excited to see the show!
xo

You are the queen of handsewing! I love the Audrey Heburn stem of the mushrooms.

At risk of sounding like someone's mother, take lots of breaks when sewing :)

gorgeous mushroom! my 3d mushroom looked too pooofy, i like yours!

Ohhhh how cute and fantastic colours!

hi stephanie! i loooove your works! they're all amazing! i really like stuffed dolls and i used to knit. recently, i collected some of 'weird' stuffed dolls from a friend of mine. too bad i cannot buy one of your handmade here, coz i'm half of the globe away from you. but after i see your blog, i think i want to make one or two or many myself! keep the good work, steph! warm 'tropical' regards from indonesia...

I love the mushroom and think the fabric you used under the cap is just perfect.

I haven't visited in awhile and forgot how wonderful your things are. Each of them brings a bigger smile!

:-) Stay well and healthy! Take breaks! I adore your works!

I love this mushroom!
