shroom
That's all I've got for yesterday/today. My body has begun to rebel against all the hunched-over handsewing, so I'm taking a day or two off. I spent a few hours reorganizing our craft room yesterday (it's also my office and I had to dig out the bills and important paperwork from the piles of fabric and clumps of wool stuffing that were covering everything). It was all quickly undone this morning by my kids. Ah, sharing. We all have our important messes to make in there.
Have a great weekend.

enjoy your time off. i have empathy for the hunched-over posture and am ready for a little break. it always feels good to reset the studio in order to get inspired again.
may the weekend be filled with relaxation and nice weather.

Hi!
Everything you make reminds me my childhood. All brown colors in the woods, gray, green and some bright spots. I like that you leave your things simple so the color has all the attention. I would love to see all your creation in one - handmade nature!. Wouldn`t that be great?
Thank You for inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, shrooms! They sprout after a good dose of rain where I come from, signaling a start afresh. Very apt, I think. ;)

You are the queen of handsewing! I love the Audrey Heburn stem of the mushrooms.
At risk of sounding like someone's mother, take lots of breaks when sewing :)
