I just want to take a moment to extend my most heartfelt thanks for all your incredible comments and emails...I do intend to respond to them...but probably not until this increasingly-hectic month of April is over...back to my needle and thread now.
oh, how excellent. these little fabric birds and tree stumps are just so fun. love the polka dot fabrics.

ah, i loved, loved, loved beatrix potter as a child. i would copy her drawings, make "paper animals" and make up my own stories... but i digress..
i just wanted to say how much i'll miss your blog, but know the free time will help you soar to even higher creative heights. i'm not sure how i found your blog anymore, but i feel as if i learned to sew or maybe *dared* to sew at your knee (and claire of loobylu and amy of angry chicken, your sister and so many others)... one of your creations inspired me to make "Amimal" for my daughter, and it means so much to me that she is one of her favorites. thank you so much for sharing, inspring, creating and daring.
i know the show will go spectacularly as will all of your endeavors.
