The events at VA Tech are horrid and my heart breaks for the families, friends, and just plain everyone as this tragedy touches and affects us all. The world seems to be going insane and I feel so sad.
The mushroom is lovely. I've been thinking about mushrooms lately since seeing them on your site and I'm thinking I need a fairy ring in one of my flower beds--I believe a little hopeful magic is in order right now considering the craziness in the world.

The buttons are delectable, the stalk so soothing in it's linen, and so charming with it's botanical accuracy
Your beautiful site and creations bring such brightness
such a welcome contrast to the gravity oft found these days. so grateful. what a gift you are.

I'm really glad you created this blog, even if it is ending, because it's really set the way for me as far as everyday aesthetics and a sort of slow-life way of living go. you've made me really excited about getting older and living in a similar style, as I'm just going off to college and making these kinds of habits now. So thank you!

Dear stephanie, my mind and my soul have fallen in love with this mushroom, and i miss it, after looking at it a week ago, how would you feel about me showing your image on my blog of course with a link to your blog so that they can see that owl with the scarf as well?
