A new day that I will approach with renewed gratitude. I will laugh at my silly children. I will rest my head on my husband's shoulder. I will celebrate new opportunities. I will make things. I will remember.

Yes. My boys (all 3) and I snuggled a little extra in the bed this morning. Thank you. I have been following this story through your blog. I didnt know the Kims obvioulsy. But through you both I now know what wonderful souls they all are.
It is sad that someone elses' tradegy can you make appreciate everything that you have. I feel like sometimes people lose focus of what is really important and get caught in the mundane.
I think this event has touched everyone involved and maybe we will all look at our lives with clearer eyes.
Yes, i too have taken a day off from my regular work schedule. A day to quietly be and reflect the world around me. I am very touched by this story that i learned about through your blog. And now, i sit in the sunshine coming through my window and try to feel a little bit of peace. I hope you feel the same way. Peace to you and yours.
Great ideas, Stephanie. Gratitude is a good thing. Our perspective on life changes so quickly sometimes. But why does it take such tragic events to make us think? We take so much for granted. Something to think about this Holiday season.
thank you for your little bits of loveliness....your words, photos, work. i would like to be a contributor for the fund-raiser and will watch for updates.
I saw this story on the news and just cried and cried over someone I never knew. I grabbed my husband's hand and together in front of the television we prayed for the family left without a father and husband. Blessings to each of you.
