seeing pink elephants

Pink_elephant

I'm having a really busy week, but I wanted to pop in and say hello. This little pink elephant will be in the shop on Friday with a few more friends (I hope). She's made of the softest 100% wool with vintage peach fabric sent to me by my sister (she spoils me rotten, I tell ya).

One of the things I'm dealing with is a sudden influx of comment spam, so I've turned on the word verification feature. Sorry, I know that's a pain. I've also discovered that my email program has been routing all kinds of mail to my junk folder that was, in fact, not junk, so I'm trying to weed through those messages as well.

Okay, back to work. Sometimes I want to call up my eight-year-old self and be like, "Hey, guess what I do! I make stuffed animals. People pay me to do it. For real. Cool, hunh?"

Prettiness of elephantine proportions! The button on the tip of the trunk is inspired.

I just adore this little guy. I hope I actually have a chance at something this go around in your shop. I love, love the button.

best of luck with all the spam, that is a pain.

Very sweet little piggy. She'd make a perfect new baby gift!

sweet sweet souie!! hope you find a moment of calm in your busy week - and hey, my 8 yr old self would say "yahhh way cool!" (ok - so my 36 yr old self says that too!)

Oh my gosh, that button on the nose is perfect.

I know that feeling so well. I get so many strange comments from people when I say I make toys and things. I love it!

What a darling elephant! Oh, he's just perfect! I will be on the lookout on Friday as well.
The wool looks so soft and luxurious...do tell, where'd you find it at? Such a beautiful pink too...
(And if anyone could take a peek at my blog if you would...I really need some comments to inspire me!)

yeah it is pretty sweet that you get paid to make cute things ;)

Totally adorable!

i bet your 8 year old self would have loved the idea if someone had told her she'd be making stuffed animals for a living (well, not really, but almost.) cheers to that!

i love pinkie! love.
I think about informing my 8 year old self of my life/job sometimes, too...only I think it would make her a little too excited to grow up.
xoxo

Cute softie!! Can't wait to see what else you put up in your shop. I hope the spam issue gets resolved soon - so frustrating, I know!
